Two arrested for monitoring Olusegun Osoba’s residence with drone
Two individuals – a man and a lady – have been arrested for monitoring the Abeokuta residence of former Governor of Ogun State, Olusegun Osoba with a drone.
In a statement signed by Osoba’s political affiliate, Adekunle Adeyemi, he decried the threat to the life of the Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC) Structure Drafting Committee and also warned about the dangerous political climate in Ogun State.
“Late afternoon on Tuesday, two people, a lady and a young man, were caught using drone to monitor goings-on in the expansive compound of Chief Osoba,” a part of the statement reads.
“Alert security staff of Chief Osoba were able to bring down the drone and got the operators arrested.
“Neither of the suspects was able to give coherent explanation.
“Chief Osoba arrived Abeokuta from the United Kingdom in the morning to prepare for a private meeting where peaceful conduct of the presidential party primary scheduled for Friday was to be discussed.”
