Suspected serial killer gunned down by Ogun State Police in Iperu
Suspected serial killer, Feyisola Dosunmu, who had earlier been declared wanted by the Ogun State Police Command was gunned down in his hideout in Ogere community.
The serial killer and drug addict terrorised residents in Iperu and Ogere communities and was reported to have killed no fewer than seven people in both communities.
According to the Commissioner of Police, Edward Ajogun, the police were able to locate Dosunmu through effective deployment of technology from Abuja and Lagos, coupled with the co-operation of hunters and vigilante teams in the area.
The serial killer who was found in a forest between Iperu and Ogere in Ikenne Local Government Area, reportedly attacked the police with a cutlass and other dangerous weapons as soon as he sighted them.
The police, in reaction, were forced to shoot him in the knee and thigh, and he bled to death as he was being transported to the city.
The Commissioner of Police paraded Dosunmu’s remains and thanked Governor Abiodun, the police and others involved for their support in bringing the serial killer reign of terror to an end.
