President Buhari names train stations in Ogun State after Ransome- Kuti, Soyinka and Osinbajo
President Muhammadu Buharihas named railways stations in Papalanto, Abeokuta and Kajola after prominent Nigerians who have contributed to the development of the nation at large.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Ministry of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, on Monday. The statement was titled “Buhari Names Railway Stations After Prominent Nigerians”.
The Abeokuta Station was named after respectable Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka, Papalanto Station was named after Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti, and the Kajola Station named after Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.
Others honoured include: Babatunde Raji Fashola(Agege station), Bola Ahmed Tinubu(Apapa station), Lateef Jakande (Agbado station), The late Mobolaji Johnson (Ebute Metta Station), Segun Osoba (Olodo station), Ladoka Akintola (Omio-Adio station), Obafemi Awolowo (Ibadan station).
