President Buhari celebrates Governor Dapo Abiodun on his 60th birthday
President Muhammadu Buhari has sent a congratulatory message to Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun ahead of his 60th birthday on Friday.
Governor Abiodun was born into the family of Dr. Emmanuel and Mrs. Victoria Abiodun on May 29, 1960 in Iperu-Remo.
He graduated from the Obafemi Awolowo University with a degree in Civil Engineering and also in the Kennesaw State University in Atlanta Georgia with a degree in Accounting.
In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Femi Adesina, President Buhari commended Governor Abiodun-led administration and also prayed for abundant wisdom for him.
“The President felicitates with the governor, his family, and political associate on the attainment of the landmark age which has been inaugurated with many lofty achievements in the private and public sector,” it read.
“The President commends the governor for the way his administration had prioritized education and healthcare in the state, and his contributions towards the development both in the state and national level.
“According to President Buhari, the governor’s diligence, courage, discipline and intelligence graciously translated to winning the 2019 elections.
“As the Governor turns 60, the president believes the Governor will continue to work towards the betterment of the state, and lead the state to greater heights through his proven experience.
“He, therefore, urged the governor to remain focused and steadfast, praying that the Almighty God grant him abundant health and wisdom to realize his dreams.”
