Premier League club supports children in Ogun State with kits donation
Premier League outfit Brighton and Hove Albion have supported children in Ogun State in actualising their football dreams with the donation of playing and training kits.
Brighton who are ranked 15th in the Premier League table this season, said the donation was made to schools in only Ogun and Oyo States.
The club is currently helping children across seven countries in Africa, including Nigeria.
“The states visited in Nigeria were Oyo and Ogun. The children given jerseys also had the opportunity of learning how to play football, through which some talent was found,” the club statement read.
“The skill and training they acquired would help them in the future as some of these children want to become footballers. Due to the lack of training their dreams started dying out, but with the help of Brighton and Hove Albion they may be able to fulfill their dreams.”
