Nigeria unite to celebrate Chief Olusegun Obasanjo at 83
Past and present leaders across Nigeria, irrespective of their political tent, took time out to celebrate former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo on his 83rd birthday.
The former Military Head of State from and President, who was born in Abeokuta on March 5, 1937 is a year older on Thursday.
Obasanjo ruled Nigeria between the 1976 and 1979 during the military regime before ascending the throne as a civilian President from 1999 to 2007.
Obasanjo is widely respected as an international statesman and visionary leader not only in Nigeria but in Africa and the world.
