Governor Amosun holds strategic political meeting with Ogun West elders

Governor Ibikunle Amosun held a strategic political meeting with two key elder groups in Ogun West Senatorial District on how to achieve All Progressives Congress [APC] dream of winning the state’s gubernatorial election in 2019.

 

The one-time senator who represented Ogun Central between 2003 and 2007, reminded the Ogun West Elders Council and the Yewa Think-Tank on Monday that the APC has zoned the state’s governorship slot to Ogun West and urged them to bring out a candidate to succeed him in the Oke-Mosan office.

 

Present at the meeting were leaders of the Yewa Think Tank, Professor Ayo Alabi and Ogun West Elders Council, Chief M.A Olagbaiye.

Two key elders group in the Ogun West Senatorial District, the Ogun West Elders Council and the Yewa Think-Tank, on Monday, in Abeokuta, conferred with Senator Ibikunle Amosun, towards achieving their dream of occupying the Oke-Mosan office, in 2019. Senator Amosun reminded the elders that the party leadership, at both state and national levels has zoned the Governorship slot to Ogun West and charged them to close ranks, so as to work for the emergence of their son or daughter. The leaders of the Yewa Think Tank , Professor Ayo Alabi and that of Ogun West Elders Council, Chief M.A Olagbaiye, expressed happiness at the sincerity and commitment of the Governor, they resolved to work for the candidate that will emerge.
