Governor Abiodun sympathises with Lagos State Government over Abule-Ado explosion

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has commiserated with the people and government of Lagos State over the pipeline explosion which claimed many lives in Lagos.

 

The unfortunate incident, which occured in Abule-Ado on Sunday, resulted in loss of lives and destruction of properties.

 

Governor Abiodun, in a personal condolence message, empathised with the families of the dead, including children and persons who lost properties in the inferno.

 

He emphasised importance of personal safety and also commended his Lagos State counterpart, Governor Babajide Sanwoolu, for his prompt response to the tragic incident  and the humanitarian support immediately deployed.

 

“I commiserate with the Lagos State People and Government on the Abule-Ado fatal explosion that occurred in the State yesterday. Sadly, the tragic incident destroyed structures and lives were lost,” Governor Abiodun wrote on Instagram.

“I sympathise with the families of victims, and pray that such may never recur. However, it is important that everyone, including residents and emergency responders, within the axis take precautionary measures to ensure their safety from the possibly harmful fumes in the aftermath. I commend the Lagos State Government, under the leadership of His Excellency, Jide Sanwoolu for their prompt rescue and relief efforts.”
