Governor Abiodun approves new boards for Ogun State Civil Service, Teaching Service Commission & others
Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has approved appointments into seven statutory bodies in the state with the aim of strengthening the machinery of government.
According to a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Kunle Somorin, Friday’s announcement was the first batch of appointees into statutory agencies, with other appointments to be made in due course.
The bodies that got new board members include the Ogun State Civil Service Commission, Local Government Service Commission and Teaching Service Commission.
Others are Ogun State Housing Corporation Board, Health Management Board, Agro-Services Board and Bulk Purchase Corporations Board.
The appointees and their commissions are;
Civil Service Commission: Tokunbo Odebunmi – Chairman; members are Adebowale Ojuri, Olusegun Fagbayi, Gabriel Ayinde Falola and Nike Osoba.
Local Government Service Commission: Bukky Onabanjo – Chairman; members are Lukman Olufemi Adiro, Koye Ijaduoye, Yusuf Adegbenro and Babatunde Rufai.
Teaching Service Commission: Lekan Ifede – Chairman; members are Olanrewaju Majekodunmi, Aderibigbe Tella, Hon. Joseph Adeleke and Deola Akintonde.
Housing Corporation Board: Yemi Sanusi – Chairman; Olawale Ojo – General Manager; members are Abidemi Alimi, Adeniyi Edun, Adebayo Aladejobi Shuaib, Ademola Balogun, Omitaomu Ekundayo and Olumide Soyemi.
Health Management Board: Kunle Solako -Chairman, members are Wasiu Isiaka Onaolapo Isaac Olawale, Dele Tinuoso Sunday Akintona, Awofeso Abimbola, Bankole Osisanya, Salami Mojisola and Bimbola Majekodunmi.
Agro-Services Corporation Board: Kehinde Adebanjo – Chairman; members are Ajibola Ogunsiji, Ogundalu Felix Olufemi, Princess Oshiyemi, Remi Onasanya, Sunday Kojeku and Bidemi Ogunseye.
Bulk Purchasing Board: Anthony Ojesina – Chairman; members are Kehinde Olaleye, Dele Erisan, Mutiu Bankole, Mojisola Sangonuga, Bimpe Sonubi and Jamiu Asimi.
In his remarks, Governor Abiodun urged the new board members to see their appointments as a call to service for the development of Ogun State and its people.
