Gateway United get new coach
Gateway United have confirmed the appointment of Akeem Adaranijo as their caretaker coach until the end of the 2018-19 season.
The decision comes five days after Akeem Busari throw in the towel due to his side’s poor run of results in the Nigeria National League this season.
Busari confirmed his resignation after Gateway United conceded a 3-2 defeat to Nnewi United on May 1.
With an abysmal record of four games without a win in the second-tier of the Nigerian league, Adaranijo has been tasked to help the MKO Abiola Stadium outfit to turn their poor form around.
