Four suspected ritualists arrested with human parts in Ogun State
Four suspected ritualists were arrested by the Social Orientation and Safety Corps Agency (So-Safe Corps) around the Idiroko border area of Ogun State in Ipokia Local Government on Sunday.
The four suspects identified as Dosu Matthew – a citizen of Republic of Benin; John Feyisetan, aged 47, Samuel Adegbola; and Itomu Micheal who is a farmer and herbalist, were allegedly caught with fresh pair of human arms.
According to the Guardian, the security agents assigned to the border area, in line with the lockdown directive issued by the state and federal government.
So-Safe Corps’ Director of Information and Public Relations, ACC Moruf Yusuf disclosed that during the preliminary investigation without torture, the suspects confessed that three of their gang members are on the run following their arrest.
The suspects and the exhibits obtained have been handed over to police at the Idiroko Divisional Headquarters for further investigation.
Yusuf added that the corps is working hard to ensure that the fleeing suspects are apprehended.
