#EndSARS : Protests rock Ogun State as youths demand end to police brutality
Youths trooped out in their tens across Ogun State on Friday to demand the scrapping of notorious police unit, Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) that is accused by many of brutality.
Just as in every other states of the Federation, peaceful protests were staged in the capital city, Abeokuta and Ijebu-Ode.
Earlier this year, Sagamu residents called for the ban of SARS activities in Ogun State after former Remo Stars player, Tiyamiyu Kazeem, popularly known as Kaka was killed by a police officer.
