Deputy Governor-elect Noimot Salako-Oyedele visits Mecca for thanksgiving
Ogun State Deputy Governor-elect Alhaja Noimot Salako Oyedele has travelled to Islam’s holiest city, Mecca to pray and offer her appreciation for victory at the gubernatorial elections.
The All Progressives Congress were declared winner of the March 9 governorship election after defeating their closest rivals the Allied Peoples Movement with a margin of 19,517 votes.
APC’s Dapo Abiodun gathered 241,670 votes after winning 11 of the 20 Local Government Areas in the state.
And Alhaja Oyedele, in company of her spouse, has taken a break from political activities to give gratitude to Allah ahead of their inauguration on May 29.
