Coronavirus: Ogun State records 108 cases in a single day
Ogun State is ranked as the fourth state in Nigeria with the highest cases of coronavirus after recording 108 new cases on Tuesday, June 9.
It was the first time the Gateway State hit the 100-mark for infection in a single day and the highest recorded in a single day since the confirmation of its index case in February.
663 cases were confirmed in Nigeria on Tuesday as Lagos State took the lead with 170 confirmed positive tests and Ogun State followed with 108 cases while Bauchi and Ebonyi States had 49 and 33 cases respectively.

Tuesday’s report extended the total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Ogun State to 471 with 272 people on admission while 186 recovered patients have been discharged and 13 deaths recorded.
