Coronavirus: Obasanjo donates former residence for isolation centre in Ogun State

Former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo has given up his former residence to be used as isolation centre for victims of the coronavirus pandemic.

 

The residence which is located at the Presidential Hilltop in Abeokuta is a 32-room facility with a standby generator and has been handed over to Ogun State Government for immediate takeover.

 

According to the Special Assistant to Chief Obasanjo, Kehinde Akinyemi, the former president was concerned about the pandemic as Ogun State recorded the third case coronavirus in the state.
