Coronavirus: Governor Dapo Abiodun extends Ogun State lockdown by another one week
Governor Dapo Abiodun has announced the extension of the total lockdown in Ogun State by another one week as they continue the fight against coronavirus.
The Governor made the decision on Friday after the majority of residents voted for the continuation of the lockdown in a poll conducted on the Government’s official page.

Friday’s decision was the third time Governor Abiodun ordered the extension of the lockdown by one week after President Muhammadu Buhari announced eased lockdown in the state alongside the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Lagos State.
He maintained the relaxation periods remain on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 7am to 5pm.
As of Thursday, the Gateway State has 70 active cases of Covid-19 while 59 recoveries have been recorded.
