Coronavirus: FMC nurse discharged from Ikenne isolation centre
A nurse from the Federal Medical Center, Abeokuta who tested positive for coronavirus has been discharged from the isolation centre in Ikenne after testing negative.
The head of Public Relations at FMC, Segun Orisajo, confirmed that the unnamed nurse was discharged on Saturday after testing negative twice.
“The nurse was discharged a few moments ago after two of her samples returned negative,” Orisajo was quoted as saying by Daily Post.
“She was admitted into the centre about two weeks ago.”
According to Orisajo, the nurse expressed her gratitude to the medical director, the entire management staff, nursing unions, and the entire staff following her recovery.
