Amosun parties with Atiku and Tinubu in Abuja
Former Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun was among the high profile politicians present at Nuhu Ribadu son’s wedding in Abuja on Saturday.
Mahmud Nuhu Ribadu and Amina Aliyu Ismaila tied the knot at the Al-Nur Mosque in the nation’s capital with Vice-president Yemi Osinbajo also in attendance.
Unlike Amosun, Tinubu and Osinbajo who are in the All Progressives Congress (APC), Atiku Abubakar is a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and was the main opposition to President Buhari’s re-election on February 2018.
Amosun is currently representing Ogun Central district at the Senate, following the expiry of his second term as the Governor of the state.
He’s joined by former and present state governors, including Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara State and Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State.
It will be recalled that Nuhu Ribadu was the founding chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and he also served as Director in the Buhari/Osinbajo campaign council for the 2019 election.
