Airtel Nigeria donate ICT centre to Odogbolu community

A refurbished ICT centre was commissioned by Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun after telecommunications company, Airtel Nigeria, donated it to Imodi – Ijebu community of the Odogbolu Local Government Area in Ogun State.

The governor who was represented by the Secretary to State Government, Tokunbo Talabi, commended Airtel for their Community Service Responsiblity [CSR] gesture to the community and stated that it would give way to development at the grassroot level and that the ICT centre would enhance prompt participation by the people of the community in some of the technology programmes of the government such as job-portal, anchor borrowers, and so on.

Segun Ogunsanya, Managing Director of Airtel Nigeria who was represented by Director of Corporate Communications, Airtel, Emeka Oparah, referenced that the telecommunication company’s programme, ‘Airtel touching lives’, is set to enrich lives in which over 2 million Nigerians had benefited from so far.
